5th Blood Donation Camp at DDU College | A Report

Ahuti Welfare Society, Delhi organised a Blood Donation Camp at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College on Tuesday, 22 September 2015. 
The Blood Donation Camp started from 10 a.m. and last up to 4 p.m. Camp was supported by Indian Red Cross Soceity, Delhi. Volunteers of NSS, DDU College also participated in this camp.

World Blood Donor Day | 14 June

Today is World Blood Donor Day. Every year World Blood Donor Day (WBDD) is celebrated globally on June 14 which is meant for expressing gratitude to all the Blood Donors who save lives by donating their Blood. This day also spread awareness regarding the need of safe blood and blood Product. This event was established in 2004 and since then it is celebrated every year.

World No Tobacco Day (विश्व तम्बाकू निषेध दिवस)

World No Tobacco Day is observed around the world every year on May 31. It is intended to encourage a 24-hour period of abstinence from all forms of tobacco consumption around the globe. The day is further intended to draw attention to the widespread prevalence of tobacco use and to negative health effects, which currently lead to nearly 6 million deaths each year worldwide, including 600,000 of which are the result of non-smokers being exposed to second-hand smoke. The member states of the World Health Organization (WHO) created World No Tobacco Day in 1987. In the past twenty years, the day has been met with both enthusiasm and resistance around the globe from governments, public health organizations, smokers, growers, and the tobacco industry. 4th Blood Donation Camp at DDU | A Report

Ahuti Welfare Society, Delhi organised a Blood Donation Camp at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College on Wednesday, 25 March 2015. The Bloood Donation Camp started from 10 a.m. and last up to 4 p.m. Camp was supported by Indian Red Cross Soceity, Delhi and Blood Connect. Volunteers of NSS, DDU College also participated in this camp.
Total 82 units of Blood collected. Refreshment and mementos given by the society to the Donors.
